Guilherme Freitas
Master's in Software Engineering.

Over the past few years, I have worked as a Software Engineer at organizations such as Inter.co, Dock, iFood, and Phoebus. My career has been dedicated to building, maintaining, and evolving fintech and payments solutions designed to make life easier for both businesses and individuals.
At Inter.co, I am currently contributing to the launch of a new international mortgage credit division—designing everything from partner integration portals to contract and team management, using modern AWS cloud tools and Java frameworks.
Previously, at Dock, I focused on the reliability and evolution of systems handling domestic bank transfers and investment products, while developing smarter billing solutions that increased revenue. My work regularly involved AWS, Java, Spring Boot, and Python.
At iFood, I managed one of Brazil’s top-selling gift cards, ensuring its stability and continuous evolution. My daily activities included work with Kotlin, Spring, PostgreSQL, and various cloud automation tools.
Earlier, at Phoebus, I was responsible for PayStore, a platform supporting both physical and digital payments. I worked extensively with microservices, Kafka, MongoDB, and helped maintain a robust and reliable system.
My passion for technology extends beyond professional roles. Academically, I have combined hands-on projects and research, always seeking ways to improve both software and teamwork.
I am currently pursuing a postgraduate degree in DevOps & Continuous Software Engineering at PUC Minas, deepening my expertise in CI/CD, automation, and the integration of development and operations.
Previously, I completed a postgraduate program at Unipê, expanding my skills in agile methodologies, DevOps practices, and system monitoring.
During my master’s at UFRN, I focused my research on how continuous integration and automated testing can significantly improve software quality in both open-source and enterprise environments.
My journey began at UFPI, where I earned my bachelor’s in Information Systems and developed a project integrating GitHub with project management tools to improve team collaboration and productivity.
In summary, I am always looking for new ways to build better software—whether through academic research or by applying the latest tools in practice. My curiosity and drive for improvement are what motivate me every day.
